Replacement Certificates

Obtaining Past Examinations Results

Please read the following points before clicking on the link at the end of these Notes to complete and return the Certified Statement(s) of Results (RR1) form.

Fees and Certificates

  • The fee is £10.00 per examination level per session;
    For example: a statement for GCE O Levels taken in one examination session, e.g. Summer examinations 1985 and GCE A Levels taken in another examination session, e.g. Summer examinations 1987 would total £20.00;
  • For each statement of examination results requested, complete a separate set of examination details. Information provided should be as accurate as possible to avoid delays;
  • A search fee of £5 per examination session will be charged when an application is submitted but no results found;
  • Original certificates can only be duplicated if all or part of a damaged certificate is supplied to the Council. The Council can only provide this service from the 2001 series to present day. A fee of £19.00 per duplicate certificate is then payable;

Provide Identification

  • You must submit 2 proofs of identification (one of which must be photographic);
    For example: a photocopy of your birth certificate, driver’s licence, passport, electoral card or other official record.

Payment

  • A cheque or postal order made payable to the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) for the appropriate amount (in sterling) and should be forwarded together with the completed form(s) to the:

  • Allow up to ten working days for return of the certified statement(s) of results;

Awarding Body

  • Ensure the examinations were taken through the Northern Ireland Examinations Board. For example, for results of examinations taken through OCR, EDEXCEL, AQA etc, you should contact the appropriate awarding body. If you are unsure which awarding body you were entered through, please contact the school or college where you sat your examinations;
