New CCEA QCF Qualifications
The eCandidate Record
Sheet (eCRS) application
will be unavailable from Monday 27 February (9.00 am) until Wednesday 29 February (12 noon). This downtime is to allow us to upgrade to a brand new version of the eCRS software that we believe will provide a greatly enhanced experience for our users. Centres can continue to use the existing application up until the downtime begins. Click here for news/updates.

Welcome to the eModeration website for GCE/GCSE qualifications. The purpose of this website is to keep centres up to date with eModeration developments and provide access and guidance on using the applications.

What is eModeration?

eModeration is a suite of applications developed by CCEA to modernise the collection of controlled assessment/coursework marks and for some subjects the provision of uploaded samples for moderation. Details of the mandatory and optional subjects involved in eModeration are available in the Subject Specific and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) sections of this microsite.

Registering for eModeration subjects

Exams Officers have the facility, through centralised login, to manage the registrations for eModeration subjects within their centre. Guidance for Exams Officers on how to register teachers is available on the Exams Officers home page. When registered by the Exams Officer login details will be automatically emailed to the teacher.

The applications within eModeration used by centres include:
