14 - 19 Policy
A major part of CCEA's work is to provide advice to Government on curriculum and qualifications for young people between the ages of 14 and 19. In order to provide sound evidence-based advice CCEA undertakes and evaluates pilot work in schools and colleges. The result of this work informs recommendations on policy issues to the Department of Education and the Department of Employment and Learning. Policy recommendations are also influenced by the outcomes of CCEA commissioned research by external bodies.
