The Wow Factor

To support the delivery of Education for Employability CCEA is producing material for use in Years 8 - 12. These will be placed on this page as they become available throughout the academic year 2007 – 2008 for download in digital format for schools who wish to contextualize the material for their teaching schemes.

Education for Employability – MLD & SLD

Education for Employability (MLD)  A Resource for Key Stage 4 / Irish medium also available

This resource is directed at young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). It will be available in March 2008.

In September 2004 the Education for Employability Programmme for Year 8 pupils was piloted in 53 schools throughout Northern Ireland. This programme was modified to accommodate pupils with mild learning difficulties (MLD), however it is unsuitable for pupils with sever learning difficulties (SLD).
